Development History
26 September 2018: A member of the public nominates the building for the At Risk Register as vacant for approximately four years, latterly secured with metal grills to openings. The property is advised to have been vandalised over the last few months and a hole have opened on a roof pitch. The building may form part of an nearby residential development. For Investigation.
11 November 2020: External inspection finds the lodge disused. Walls and central chimney stack are intact but slates and sarking are missing in large areas from the roof, exposing rafters. Rainwater goods are partially engulfed in vegetation. Walls appear to be best surviving part of building. Windows and doors are boarded up. Boundaries are secured with security fencing. A new large housing development is being developed on the other side of The Wisp and a car park appears to have been created close to the lodge for the workers.
