Development History
February 1998: External inspection reveals the lodge to be empty and in poor condition. It is now threatened with demolition. A tenant farmer re-wired and harled the building some years ago. October 2000: External inspection reveals no change. January 2006: Dundee Courier reports that Perth and Kinross Council are considering serving a Repairs Notice on the Earl of Mansfield 1992 Trust for works to the farm steading roof. The paper also comments that there are a number of other properties on the estate (this being one) currently at risk. October 2006: Local planners report that almost all of the original windows have been lost, the front door is open and that none of the openings are boarded up.
June 2009: Local planners report that building remains pretty much the same as in October 2006, with the addition of boarding to the window and door openings to guard against vandalism and the weather.
September 2009: External inspection finds the building remains disused and boarded up. The gutters are clogged with vegetation. Otherwise, the property appears to be in fair condition.
December 2011: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit.
12 March 2014: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
30 November 2017: A member of the public advises the guttering and roof pitches have extensive vegetation growth over them.
