Description

Slight remains of tower house and more extensive remains of barmkin wall and outbuildings. Encloses flower garden. Considerably repaired in 1928. 1625 Petrus Hay panel set up in N.E. corner.

January 2011: External inspection finds the remains of the castle now in a heavily overgrown state - the walls are engulfed in ivy.
24 September 2014: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously. Vegetation growth continues to engulf the structure.
11 June 2019: Inspection finds the site remains in much the same condition as seen previously, subject to general decline.
