Historic Scotland announce latest round of Building Repair Grants

Culture Minister Fiona Hyslop has announced the latest round of funding through the Historic Scotland Building Repair Grant scheme. Three of the awards are to buildings on the At Risk Register.

Dundee Heritage Trust in association with Tayside Building Preservation Trust has been awarded £500,000 to repair the historic High Mill in Dundee.

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council) has been awarded £500,000 towards the scheme to put Lews Castle into community use.

West Dunbartonshire Council has secured £64,056 towards essential roof and masonry repairs to Balloch Castle.
