Opened 1914; rebuilt 1935 with the current plain facade. Bingo hall until recently, then a nightclub. Currently derelict. (ref: scottish cinemas.org). Large Art Deco former cinema on corner site. Early purpose-built cinema, altered during the 1930's. Collonaded entrance, plain frontage with tile decoration at centre. White roughcast render. Side elevations feature sets of small, tripartite windows.

December 2008: External inspection finds the building in fair condition. The blocked gutters are causing vegetation growth and staining on the walls. The render is failing on one portion of the facade.
June 2010: A member of the public contacts SCT to advise that the condition of the building has deteriorated and that site security is now an issue.
9 November 2012: A member of the public advises the building's condition has deteriorated. Buddleia are growing from within the building and a large opening can been seen from street level. Birds are advised as gaining access.
