Development History
15 December 2014: External inspection finds the cottage disused. The roof is in poor condition, with a significant loss of slates from the street elevation. Other roofs are losing slates. The front elevation gutter is missing causing discolouration to windows and doors, in other places rainwater goods are rusted or broken. Full Planning Permission to replace the property with a 3-storey dwelling was refused (08/00144/FUL), an appeal against the decision being dismissed (08/00025/REFSL). Full Planning Permission for alterations and extension of the cottage was conditionally approved Dec 2009 ref: 09/00472/FUL.
16 September 2019: A member of the public notes that the building remains in a disused and derelict state and that a hole has developed in the roof.
20 May 2024: Full planning permission (21/01856/FUL) is being sought for the new residential development of a single dwellinghouse and complete demolition of existing dwellinghouse. No application for conservation area consent appears to have been lodged.
