Development History
29 June 2021: Nominated by local planner who notes the building has been periodically vacant since 1996, with a recent series of break-ins and damage to the interior.
4 August 2021: External inspection finds the building disused and with areas of damage on walls, obscured vegetation on exposed west/sea front. Principle east elevation is good condition. Numerous broken windows are now boarded up. Although the windows appear to have been replaced relatively recently, all are now in need of repair. Roof light in entrance hall is smashed. Doors have smashed glass and damaged wood work. The building is secluded and accessible from a variety of public foot paths, making it difficult to secure. Moved to At Risk.
27 May 2022: A member of the public notes scaffold and protective security fencing has been erected around the property.
