Development History
11 November 2019: Nominated for the Register by the Friends Of Milngavie Reservoir as long-term disused and in deteriorated condition - a number of individual buildings may be affected including the farmhouse, cottages, former hall and ancilliary buildings. The hall is advised as being converted to dwellings around 20 years ago but not thought to have been occupied for an extended period.
2 June 2022: External inspection finds the building in very poor condition. The roof is sagging and holes have developed around the dormers. Slates have slipped and several are missing, along with damaged and missing lead. Lead theft has been noted on other buildings in the complex as well. The rainwater goods are heavily rusted, with signs of leaking onto the walls. The southwestern corner on the front elevation shows signs of cracking along masonry joints. Unable to fully assess all elevations due to dense vegetation growth. All openings are covered with timber or metal sheets. The area is secured with Heras fencing and CCTV is in operation.
