Development History
1990: A Gordon District Council grant is approved under the Listed Buildings repairs grant scheme, though the grant is not taken up. October 1991: External inspection reveals the steading to be at risk, though the main range to the rear is currently in use. December 1996: Local planners report new owners are to carry out full repairs to both the farmhouse and steading. March 1999: Permissions are sought to form 9 dwellings and to demolish the outbuildings. November 2001: Local planners report that permissions have been refused. January 2004: Local planners report that a scheme for the restoration of the farmhouse has now been approved and works have commenced. April 2004: Historic Scotland reports that the steading is vacant and remains at risk. 2006: The steading is re-categorised as C(S) Listing from B for Group by Historic Scotland. December 2007: External inspection reveals the steading to be remain vacant. The central section is now roofless and the buildings are not secured.
October 2010: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit.
20 August 2013: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
