Description
L-plan mill, constructed against slope, single and 2 storeys. Harl pointed rubble, tooled granite ashlar dressings with chamfered openings. 2-storey S facing elevation; wide entrance at road level in N facing single storey gable. 9-pane glazing to small windows; shaped granite apex finials; slate roof. Ashlar coped skews, bracketted skewputts. Large entrance slapped in ground floor; gutted interior. Mill pond constructed 100 metres to E and lade carried underground to mill. No wheel survives. Listed for value as part of mid 19th century farm complex. (Historic Scotland)

Development History
May 1996: External inspection reveals the mill to be derelict with unsecured openings and much vegetation growth. January 2002: Local planners report that the owner would be unwilling to sell due to the proximity to Eden Home Farmhouse. The property continues to deteriorate.
February 2008: External inspection reveals building roofed with extant harling largely in place but damage to windows and broken glazing, totally dilapidated rainwater goods. Large opening made in gable wall.
November 2010: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit.
23 October 2013: External inspection finds the gutters clogged with weeds and walls very damp below.
