Description
Former merchant's warehouse, rubble-built and rising to 3 storeys. The north gable facing Portsoy Old Harbour is part-harled and displays 4 irregular openings. The east elevation features a forestair to the outer right, leading to first floor entrance. The warehouse forms an L-plan with the adjoining 5 bay merchant's house, which is not at risk.

Development History
March 1994: External inspection reveals the warehouse to be a roofless shell. SCT understands that some repair works have been carried out, and the owner hopes to restore the block in the future. January 2000: Local planners are unaware of any change. September 2003: No apparent change in builidng fabric. May 2004: The owners report that the roof is currently being replaced. January 2005: External inspection reveals that roof repairs have been completed.
February 2008: External inspection finds that although re-roofed, the window openings to the upper floors are unboarded and the masonry is in very poor condition given its exposed harbour front location.
October 2010: External inspection finds no change to the building since the last visit.
24 October 2013: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
