Description

Range of farm buildings to the right of the Old Farmhouse of Seton West Mains and falling within its curtilage. The range forms a U-plan court with the farmhouse at its centre, and incorporate a hexagonal horsemill with a taller piend-roofed barn behind its lower extension. The roof is tiled in grey and red pantiles. The various openings include a splayed dormerhead that breaks the eaves. The Old Farmhouse itself, along with its left range, is restored and not at risk.

Development History
June 1996: The Old Farmhouse and the left range (in separate ownership) are restored as dwellings and marketed. The right range remains derelict and there are no signs of any works commencing. January 2002: Local planners are unaware of any change.
May 2011: Limited inspection possible due to surrounding fencing. However, it would appear there has been no significant change since the last site visit.
7 January 2015: External inspection finds the buildings continue to deteriorate with a partial roof collapse evident to one building.
