Harled and slated traditional-style house of 2 storeys, with a lower 3 bay extension adjoined to the left gable, topped by a corrugated iron roof. Form, and its roadside location, suggests it may have been a former inn.

Development History
May 1995: Inspection reveals the house to be empty, with broken windows. August 2001: External inspection reveals that the house is continuing to deteriorate. Its door is now broken. The house is subsequently sold. May 2006: previous owners report new ownership details to SCT.
November 2009: External inspection finds the property remains vacant, extensively vandalised and now rapidly deteriorating.
31 August 2012: External inspection finds the roof of the outbuilding has now collapsed and there is a sapling growing from the roof of the farmhouse. Otherwise, no change since the previous site visit.
