Development History
October 1997: External inspection reveals the cottage to be vacant and deteriorating. January 2000: Local planners report that the property is now a target for vandals. Virtually all windows have been broken, and the surrounding garden is very overgrown. July 2002: External inspection reveals further deterioration.
January 2012: A member of the public advises that the house remains unchanged, still unsecure and suffering from further damage.
11 January 2013: A member of the public advises the property remains At Risk, the site is now very overgrown. They approached the owner with a view to purchase but have had no reply.
26 June 2013: External inspection finds the building is no longer wind and water tight, or secure. It is now heavily encroached upon by trees and other vegetation.
22 February 2024: Desk-based assessment suggests the building remains At-Risk.
