5-bay, rectangular-plan gabled hall church with lower 2-bay, gabled entrance vestibule to E end. Roughly coursed rubble with rubble dressings. No longer in ecclesiastical use. A simple, traditional church, remaining intact in form. Of particular interest is the traditional stone tiled roof. (Historic Scotland)

April 1993: External inspection reveals the building to be in reasonable condition, although a few slates are missing from the roof. SCT understands that the church has recently changed hands; it has now been stripped of its interior fittings and is in use as a barn. January 2000: Local planners are unaware of any change.

10 September 2013: Limited external inspection from a distance finds the building is no longer watertight with large holes evident to the roof at the western end. Windows are broken and the door lies open.

7 February 2024: A dangerous building notice was served in March 2017 (17/002/DANGLB) due to the damaged roof.
