Traditional complex of farm buildings and farmhouse. The farmhouse and the main courtyard steading appear on the 1st edition (6 inch series) OS map, the timber and corrugated iron roofed buildings appear to be later additions.

Development History
January 2000: External inspection reveals the buildings to be vacant and in varying states of disrepair. The farmhouse windows are smashed and some of the storage building roofs have partially collapsed. February 2005: External inspection reveals further advanced deterioration. June 2005: SCT receives notification from a potential restoring purchaser that they have received a letter from the owners Rothiemurchus Estate, confirming that the steading is under tenancy and that they intend to restore.
October 2011: External inspection finds much of the complex has deteriorated significantly. Some sections of ranges have collapsed roofs. One range may remain in use.
28 June 2013: External inspection finds the buildings continue to deteriorate.
7 January 2019: A member of the public advises the complex remains in very poor condition with the farmhouse and one outbuilding in notable decline.
22 February 2024: Desk-based assessment suggests the building remains disused.
