Description

3 bay farmhouse, rising to 2 storeys with attic in harled rubble. The front elevation features a central round-headed entrance with a simple semi-circular fanlight. A gable with diminutive attic window and apex stack sits above. A single storey single bay kitchen extension projects from the west gable, whilst the rear elevation features a projecting stairwell to the centre encased by a later lean-to that runs the length of the elevation. Some original chimneypieces survive. The house was the home of Capt. John Henderson, author of the General View of the Agriculture of the County of Caithness.
