Development History
29 April 1997: The Aberdeen Press and Journal reports that the church has stood vacant since 1974 when its congregation merged with that of Fyvie Parish Church, though permission is being sought to convert it into a dwelling. The previous owner has applied to turn the church into an agricultural store, but the project never materialised. The church was also threatened with being reduced to a stabilised ruin.
January 2008: External inspection reveals the church to be vacant, unmaintained and in poor condition. There is defective guttering which is starting to damage the masonry.
November 2010: External inspection finds no significant change since the previous site visit. The scaffolding to the front elevation remains in place.
18 October 2013: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously. A Building Warrant was granted in May 2008 ref: BW/2007/2097 | to convert the building to a dwelling.
