Description
Corn mill, disused since 1921 but retaining most of its original machinery. 2 gabled ranges in L-plan. Single storey with lofts; all rubble built. South range has cast-iron breast-shot wheel on E gable, depressed-arched cartway faces N, single south-facing opening near eaves. Range nearest N
has asymmetrical N gable built in to bank with loft door in gable-head, lade carried along E flank, through fireclay pipe above stone embankment. Slated roofs, ventilator on N range. Interior remarkably complete. (Historic Environment Scotland List Entry)

Development History
October 1997: External inspection reveals the mill to be derelict, having stood unused since 1921.
8 June 2017: External inspection finds the former mill remains disused. Slipped slates and damage to the ridge are evident to the roof with signs of water ingress. Rainwater goods are damaged and partially lost. Rubble walls are in fair condition - in need of some maintenance but with no signs of major cracks. Move to At Risk.
