SE Thatched Cottage at Cnoc an Dundion, Cnoc an Dundion, Ruisgarry

One of two adjoining Hebridean-type thatched cottages, both single storey, with 3-bay south-west elevations. Each cottage has modern porch added, but to different elevations; each cottage also has windows with splayed reveals to either long wall: cottage to south east with porch in outer bay, concrete end stacks (apex flue to other cottage); muran thatch roofs, secured with netting and ropes, stone weights over inner wall head. September 1998: External inspection reveals the cottages to be abandoned and ruinous. April 2000: Local planners report no change. August 2000: External inspection reveals further deterioration to have occurred.

January 2009: External inspection finds the cottage us ruinous with the roof collapsed.

March 2010: External inspection finds the cottages remain ruinous shells, although the porch is relatively intact.

10 June 2015: External inspection finds the roof has entirely collapsed.
