Description

Small traditional single storey 2 bay cottage; dry stone construction; 1 white-washed chimney stack to south gable: piended thatched roof. (Historic Scotland)

Noted as probably the most simple and unaltered houses of its kind, originally part of an L-shaped farm steading, on Tiree in the Argyll and Bute District Council's Thatched Buildings Survey of Tiree, Coll and Mull in 1985. The building also was unusual for the use of a fence along the rear wallhead to keep stock off the roof.
