Development History
July 2009: External inspection reveals that the pavilion is disused. The slates are missing from the roof and the sarking, roof felt and timber cornice is in poor condition, allowing water ingress.
January 2010: Historic Scotland assess the structure for listing. The listing does not proceed due to the subsequent loss of its roof and internal features.
April 2010: A member of the public contacts SCT concerned with ther deterioration in the gazebo since SCT's last site visit. Local planners confirm the entire roof structure is now removed, following concerns over the safety of the structure. Condition assessment altered accordingly.
30 June 2015: External inspection finds the building a ruinous shell with roof and all internal timber removed. The lower steps have been broken off to prevent access to the upper floor.
