Rubble with stugged ashlar dressings. Single storey with attic in south gable. Door and loft door in south gable and garage doors to east. Slated roof and straight skews with skewputts. Rubble wall with coping. (Historic Environment Scotland List Entry)

Development History
May 2009: External inspection finds much of the building is semi-ruined, the remainder in a declining state; the remaining roof appears to have some structural problems and missing roof slates there is also the beginnings of vegetation growth. Planning and LBC consents were granted for conversion and extension into a dwelling house, Nov 2004. Ref: 04/00893/FUL and 04/00894/LBC.
16 April 2012: The property is being marketed for sale, offers around £88,000, through agents Thorntons Property Services.
22 October 2012: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit. The property remains under marketing for sale through Thorntons Solicitors at offers around £88,000. Full Planning Permission for renewal of consent 04/00893/FUL was conditionally approved Nov 2010 ref: 09/01240/FULL.
11 February 2013: The property remains under marketing for sale.
24 July 2014: The property is being marketed for sale through auction by Auction House Scotland, guide price £65,000.
7 June 2016: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously. A marketing board is affixed advertising the site for sale by auction.
26 July 2016: The site is no longer under marketing for sale.
