3 houses with shops at ground, part of terrace of 4, 2 storeys, painted lined render. house to left; later 19th century shopfront at ground, 5 part symmetrical, architraved margins, central doorway, windows flanking, large outer windows flanking, plate glass, awning, 2 windows at 1st widely spaced. House to centre; later 19th century shopfront at ground, chamfered margins, doorway to centre, window at right, large outer windows flanking, plate glass, canopy, 2 windows at 1st floor, canted dormers above outer bays. House to right; later 19th century shopfront at ground and additional windows at 1st, 3 narrow windows to centre, large windows flanking, chamfered margins, plate glass, 5 windows at 1st floor, canted, piended dormer to right. Timber sash and case windows at 1st and to dormers. Grey slate roof; stone skew and capped stack to right of centre house. Nos 9 to 21 are one interconnected shop at ground, No 3-7 is a similar original pattern, only the final building to the east is separated by a visible skew.

Development History
May 2009: External inspection finds the building appears to have been vacant and unmaintained for some time, as a result it is beginning to deteriorate quite quickly. The most recent planning/ LBC application for change of use from shop to restaurant (ref: 08/00116/FUL, 08/00118/LBC) were approved with conditions, August 2008. A building warrant was approved Dec 2008.
23 October 2012: External inspection finds the site remains vacant but the lower windows have been boarded and the front facade repainted.
7 June 2016: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
17 September 2020: A member of the public notes consent for alteration into a cafe/take-away and 2 dwellings has been conditionally approved (20/00235/FULL & 20/00239/LBC).
