Development History
August 2009: The building is currently being marketed along with the entire terrace. A planning application was approved in March 2008 for partial demolition of existing office accommodation and erection of new office accommodation.
March 2012: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit.
16 October 2014: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously. The front elevation has been painted, a ground floor window boarded up and the tree in front has been pollarded.
26 March 2015: Full Planning Permission for the conversion of 35-41 Bank Street into 5 dwellings with partial demolition to the rear was conditionally approved Mar 2015 ref: 15/00041/PP.
15 October 2019: External inspection finds this property in a deteriorating condition since last visit. Failing rainwater goods are the main cause for concern. Significant vegetation growths are blocking the gutter and downpipes. Bottom section of central downpipe is missing, enabling water ingress to the ground floor masonry and there are associated areas of damp-staining and blistering paint. Visible vegetation growths at upper floor window where there is also some stone erosion. Rear windows are boarded and there are some broken window panes. Entrance door window has been boarded.
