Description

Single storey stone built outbuilding, now a ruined shell. Several window and door openings to south and east elevations. Appears on the 1st edition (1:2;500 series) OS map.

Port Charlotte was founded in 1828 as an agricultural and distillery settlement by Walter Frederick Campbell of Islay, and named for his mother, Lady Charlotte Campbell. (FA Walker)
