Development History
December 2009: External inspection finds the building in an advanced stage of decay and suffering from many defects. Dangerous Building signs have been posted by the local authority.
30 August 2012: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit.
15 October 2012: A representative of one of the owners of the site notes they welcome offers for their interest in the site - advised as the bottom half of the villa Janefield and a dormer cottage attached. The upper section of Janefield is a flat and in separate ownership.
26 March 2014: The owner of the top flat contacts BAR to advise he purchased the flat approximately 10 years ago as a renovation project. He advises that he has proposed renovations to other owners within the site in the past but he has been unable to secure their agreement.
13 July 2021: A representative of one of the owners of the site notes they are no longer seeking a purchaser for their section of the site.
