July 2010: Local planners nominate the building for inclusion on the Register. Local minister has informed them the building is to be declared surplus to requirements and marketed for sale. Appears that General Trustees have yet to formally declare surplus & authorise sale. Set for investigation.
24 May 2012: External inspection finds the building remains disused. The congregation are meeting in the adjacent hall. The minister has reported to local planners that the building has serious structural roof issues. Moved to At Risk.

December 2014: The Scottish Centre for Personal Safety (Charity) took over the lease of the building in December 2014, as noted on its website (www.scotcps.org.uk). The charity uses the hall, whilst the church building remains unused.
25 March 2015: Listed Building Consent for the removal of stained glass windows to Saltcoats New Trinity Parish Church and replacement with plain glass windows is currently being sought ref: 15/00084/LBC. The application notes the property having been sold to a new owner.

28 January 2020: The following website (www.ardrossman.wordpress.com) records the replacement of the church hall's Star of David rose window in January 2020.
The restoration of the buildings is part of the long-term Barony St John regeneration project, which sits alongside wider plans for the regeneration of Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston.
