Buildings at Risk Register Paused
Following the review of the Buildings at Risk Register the decision has been taken to pause the BARR in order to consider long-term options for its future.

Development History
March 2010: External inspection finds the building appears to be substantially sound, but disused. The diamond frame lights have rusted and some windows have broken glass, boarded up in places.
July 2010: Local planners confirm the building is no longer in permanent religious use. Ownership of the building may have reverted to a local estate, following the cessation of religious use. The interior features of the church, particularly the long central communion table, limits the potential for reuse.
6 June 2012: RCAHMS record the site during fieldwork undertaken as part of the Uists Landscapes Project. Photographs show the building remains in much the same condition as when last visited by BAR.
9 June 2015: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously. A marketing board is affixed to the boundary wall advertising the property as For Sale with a contact telephone number of 01876 500329 noted.
10 February 2020: Listed Building Consent to form cafe (retain central communion table); install fire escape door; modify existing toilet to form accessible toilet; and install new toilet being sought (ref: 20/00037/LBC).
