Description

One and a half storey stone built store which would have abutted a single storey fishing cottage (seen on the 1st edition OS 1:2500 series map) to the immediate SW. Door and window to SE elevation with high off-set small window to NE gable. Slated roof with ridge tiles and a small rooflight to each pitch. Stone chimney stack to SW and constructed/ rebuilt stack in brick to NE. to A modern lean-to garage to south has been added.

Development History
October 2010: External inspection finds a simple store building with a reasonably good roof. Other elements of the building are in poorer condition; pointing is generally poor, rising damp is an issue, missing cans. The building may be in use as a store, but possibly infrequently. The lean-to garage does not appear to be in use either.
22 October 2013: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously. An application for demolition of the structure and erection of a new dwelling was conditionally approved Jul 2004 ref: APP/2003/0692. This application may now have lapsed.
