Development History
17 February 2012: External inspection finds these small traditional ancilliary buildings in a generally sound state, but in need of maintenance. The corrugated iron roof is rusty, but intact. The slated roof has some damage at the gable. The walls are in need of minor pointing. It is unclear whether they both are in use or not.
7 April 2014: Local planners report they are to be meeting with the new owner of the buildings in the near future.
18 March 2021: Local planners advise that planning permission has been granted, subject to specific conditions, for the conversion of the building to extended dwellinghouse use, ref: 2020/0309/HAE.
25 November 2021: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as the previous site visit. Whilst the building remains roofed, the slated pitches have deteriorated at the eaves course to the rear elevation. Openings have been boarded up or a secured. Since the previous site visit some haunching to the gable end has been replaced and railings have been constructed to the boundary of the plot. The site remains disused. Risk level raised to Moderate.
Post Survey Update. Local planners advise consent for conversion to form a dwelling extension of accommodation( 2020/0309/HAE) has been approved. The building has recently been marketed for sale and is thought to have been sold to new owners.
