Development History
14 June 2012: External inspection finds that other than the northern of the two ground floor retail units the building is disused. The first floor windows are in poor condition. The central window is boarded up and the northern window has plant growth along the bottom. All the window frames are in poor condition. Rear windows are bricked up. Local planners report a bid for a Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme for Kilbirnie is under preparation.
15 October 2014: External inspection finds another shop has opened at ground floor level. Otherwise, the property is in much the same condition as seen previously.
22 November 2019: External inspection finds the building remains majority disused - the left shop is being advertised for lease. Front downpipes have been replaced since the previous visit and the facade repainted. There are some opening joints to the concealed gutter which have signs of dampness - loss of painted finish to right hand bay suggests some dampness to the wall. Otherwise the property remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
