Two storey with three storey corner hexagonal tower on corner site bounding Old Sneddon Street and New Sneddon Street. Red sandstone with slated roof. Principal entrance to Old Sneddon Street with decorative metal gates. Originally constructed as the New Templar Hall.

Development History
5 July 2012: Building has been vacant for some time and was nominated for the Register by local planners. There appear to be issues with damp along the parapet and the four north bays to New Sneddon Street. Plants are beginning to grow on flat surfaces. The roof to New Sneddon Street requires minor repairs for lost materials. There are a few broken panes of glazing in the New Sneddon Street elevations. The site is currently being marketed for sale as a development opportunity through agent Ryden LLP. Full Planning Permission for redevelopment of the site with erection of a new block of 14 flats was conditionally granted Feb 2007 ref: 05/1416/PP.
22 August 2013: Local planners advise restoration and conversion to a soft-play area is underway at the site. Moved to Restoration in Progress.
27 March 2014: External inspection fins no signs of work underway at the site. There appear to now be holes in the roof to New Sneddon Street. Moved back from Restoration in Progress to At Risk.
31 March 2015: A member of the public advises the interior of the building is currently being cleared.
23 May 2019: A member of the public notes roof and window repairs have been carried out and the interior stripped. Moved to Restoration in Progress.
14 December 2020: Local planners advise replacement windows were installed with assistance from RC Retail Improvement Scheme in 2016. In 2020, PACE Youth Theatre sough permissions for conversion of into a creative rehearsal and performance space (20/0025/PP). Internal remediation works commenced with assistance from Renfrewshire Council.
6 September 2023: Local planners advise site visit saw that the building has been barricaded off and work is well underway. There is advertising for an exchange theatre (coming soon).
