Development History
18 August 2014: External inspection finds the building disused ( the cottage is noted as vacant in the Rait Conservation Area appraisal, 2012) with a section of collapsed wall, protected by security fencing. Although moss growth is evident the roof is in fair overall condition. One window is broken. Full Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for internal alterations and demolition of the adjoining shed were conditionally granted Jun 2010 ref: 10/01030/FLL & 10/01031/LBC.
26 September 2014: Local planners note the corner section of the building was damaged/ collapsed recently.
10 March 2022: Listed building consent (21/02271/LBC) being sought for alterations to dwellinghouse.
19 July 2024: Previously noted listed building consent (ref:21/02271/LBC) was conditionally granted, 12/08/2022. Building warrant (ref:22/01515/DOM4) notes building works have started. Move to restoration in progress.
