Development History
6 May 2014: External inspection finds the former school in generally fair condition but disused and boarded up. The building is thought to have become disused following the construction of a new school.
21 October 2014: The former school building is being marketed for sale along with the associated caretakers house by Dumfries and Galloway Council as development opportunities. The particulars note the former school was last used 2009-2010 and the caretaker house around 2003. Offers around £200,000 are invited for the overall site.
1 March 2018: The former school remains under marketing for sale through Dumfries and Galloway Council as a single plot or as part of a wider development site. Plot 1, the former school, is under marketing for sale at offers over £100,000.
2 August 2024: Desk-based assessment suggests the building remains At-Risk. The property is no longer being marketed for sale.
