Description
Single segmental-arched footbridge over the Core Burn. Roughly coursed rubble with narrow voussoirs and coped parapet largely obscured by ivy.
Good survival of a well constructed bridge of relatively early date. A similar example, separately listed, carries the Laird's Way Path over the same burn, but closer to Drybridge Village. (Historic Scotland)

6 January 2014: Nominated by a member of the public as intact but in need of repairs and encroached by trees. For Investigation.
15 September 2015: Inspection finds the bridge overall in fair condition but being encroached by vegetation and some masonry has fallen from the structure. Move to At Risk.
