Development History
16 October 2014: External inspection finds the terraced, latterly in use as offices, disused. Overall in fair condition, gutters to front and rear are corroded and sagging and there are localised areas of leakage to both gutters and downpipes. Walls display areas of dampness especially at pavement level. Ground floor windows are boarded up. The site is being advertised for sale.
26 March 2015: The site remains under marketing for sale by North Ayrshire Council as a development opportunity, offers over £150,000.
8 April 2015: Local planners advise the property is currently Under Offer.
19 February 2019: External inspection finds the terrace, latterly offices, remains disused with ground floor openings boarded up/ sealed. Whilst remaining in much the same condition as seen previously there are signs deterioration is commencing in the form of areas of dampness beneath defective downpipes. Risk level increased to Moderate.
26 April 2019: The property is being marketed for sale by North Ayrshire Council, offers over £100,000 are being sought.
15 October 2019: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously - disused and boarded up ground floor windows. Overall the building appears to be in fair condition, but a front downpipe is heavily rusted and leaking. A marketing board is affixed advertising the site for sale.
