Development History
April 1996: External inspection reveals the mill to be unused and deteriorating, with broken and unsecured windows. It was last operational in the 1950s. May 2000: Local planners are unaware of any change. June 2006: LPA reports that renovations are underway.
9 July 2008: Outline planning permission for conversion to two houses and the improvement of existing access granted (ref: 07/00480/OUTSU).
28 March 2013: Desk based assessment suggests that whilst some repair works may have previously taken place the building, they did not complete. Moved back to At Risk.
3 October 2013: External inspection finds the building has been re-roofed but many windows are broken or missing. There is no evidence of recent site activity. Risk level reduced to Moderate.
22 February 2024: Desk-based assessment suggests the building remains At-Risk.
