Ladymill, Muir of Fowlis

L-plan 2-storey coursed red granite, part pinned; kiln stone-built; good vent with sawwheel vane. Wheel internal and below ground level. Single-storey and loft outbuilding, red granite with grey dressings. Early 19th cent. Disused but in good order. (Historic Scotland)

November 1997: External inspection reveals the mill to be reasonably maintained though in need of a sustained new use. February 1998: External inspection reveals the roof to be sagging, with the guttering missing from several areas. January 2004: Local planners report that the building remains in use as a store, with no change to the building fabric. April 2005: The owners report that they have no plans to sell. December 2007: External inspection reveals that whilst the mill would benefit from maintenance and repair, it appears to be wind and water tight.

October 2010: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit.

20 August 2013: External inspection finds the buildings remains in much the same condition as seen previously. The ventilator and roof flashings have substained some damage.
