Development History
February 1992: Local planners report that the internal timbers are rotting and the roof requires reslating. Some repairs have been recently understaken. The doocot sits within the grounds of a private nursing home.
October 1994: No change reported.
July 1995: No change reported.
February 2008: External inspection finds the roof and upper walls are overgrown damaging both elements. There is a high propability of water ingress. The stonework is turning green and the timber eaves are damaged.
June 2010: External inspection find the doocot to be in much the same condition as on our prevoius visit. Plants encroachment is continuing. There is no indication that any work has been undertaken.
17 December 2014: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
