September 2009: External inspection finds the section to Bamff Road is in very poor condition. The rest is ruinous. The rainwater goods, where they survive, are buckled or clogged with plants. The windows have been lost. Pigeons are resident within the precariously roofed section. A number of other unlisted buildings on the site are also derelict.

November 2011: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit.

19 March 2014: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously.

13 April 2023: The Alyth Voice (March 2023) reports the Alyth Development Trust (ADT) has secured funding from the Scottish Government Vacant & Derelict Land Investment Programme towards a long-term project to acquire and develop the site into a multi-use community asset. The outcome of further funding bids is awaited by ADT. The article goes on to note the current owners of the site are keen to see the site transferred to community ownership to be developed into a public space.
