Farm buildings, The Square, Letham

Single storey random rubble construction row of buildings on a slight bend, consisting of 3 sections, two of which are still covered with pantiles, one of which is unroofed.

The buildings would seem to appear on the 1st edition 6 inch OS map, as the remaining part of a dog-leg run of buildings.

November 2010: External inspection finds the traditional building approaching ruination. Reserved Matters Approval for the erection of two dwelling houses including demolition of existing agricultural buildings was granted with conditions Jan 2008 ref: 07/02437/EARM

16 December 2014: External inspection finds the buildings remain in much the same condition as seen previously. Full Planning Permission for the erection of two dwellinghouses including demolition of existing agricultural buildings was conditionally granted Jan 2013 ref: 12/02855/FULL.

8 April 2019: Renewal of consent to demolish and redevelop the site is being sought (18/02880/CAC).

17 April 2019: External inspection reveals no significant change from previous visit, other than increased plant growth.
