Whin and boulder rubble, large square enclosure, now much overgrown. (Historic Scotland)

January 2011: Inspection finds the structure much overgrown making assessment of much of the stone walls difficult. Where walls can be assessed they are in poor condition, a stone stair is crumbling.

31 July 2014: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously.

24 April 2019: External inspection finds no significant change from previous visit.
