Single storey, 3 bay cottage; harl pointed rubble; rubble dressings. Centre door with flanking windows, that to left slightly enlarged. Diminutive centre rear window. Small pipe end stacks; thatch now covered with felt. (Historic Environment Scotland List Entry)

22 January 2018: Identified during the Thatched Building Survey (SPAB and Historic Scotland) 2014-15 as disused and in deteriorating condition. For Investigation.

28 November 2018: External inspection finds this building vacant and in overall very poor condition. Part of the roof has collapsed and many of the roof timbers are broken. The stonework is in relatively stable condition but most of the harling is gone and there are vegetation growths and signs of damp. The building is open to the elements and is fairly exposed on a coastal site. The timberwork of the door and windows is in poor condition and in need of repair and maintenance.

23 February 2024: Desk-based assessment suggests the building remains At-Risk.
